Qatar Airways A330-300 “15th Asian Games Doha Orange”
Filed under Asian Airlines • Commercial Airplane Models • Middle East
Carrier: Qatar Airways
Aircraft: Airbus A330-300
Scale: 1:400
Manufacturer: Dragon Wings
Date Bought: December 15, 2006
Price: Php 900.00 (discounted from Php 1100.00)
This is my second Qatari A330-300 plane that sports the special livery for the 15th Asian Games (the first one being the maroon model). I love to call this one “the desert phoenix”.
With both maroon and orange Qatari planes firmly entrenched in my collection, the only thing missing is the blue version, which I believe symbolizes the sea that surrounds Qatar. Unfortunately, my favorite shop doesn’t have that model anymore.
